Discusses the transmission of messages to St Petersburg via Copenhagen and the difficulties being experienced, also refers to the Warsaw service; informs him that he had heard nothing about the Prince of Wales' trip to Berlin other than a telegram from the Crown Princess saying she would be either in Berlin or Potsdam; reports the death of Conyngham and states that the behaviour of his son had contributed to his death; reports that Bismarck was to return the following day and was restored to health; sends regards to Lady Buchanan.
