Content DescriptionStates that Bismarck should already have told him about the peace treaty signed in Vienna which provided a 3 month ceasefire; comments on the terms, which he considered fair; the German military alliance is occupying Jutland on a temporary basis and providing an administration for the Duchies until a formal peace settlement is signed; states that Quaade did not like the idea of signing away 2/5th of Denmark; encloses some tea from his own stock as Buchanan's had not arrived; Lady Bloomfield sends best wishes.
