Content DescriptionReports that events are very unpredictable; asks if he had discussed the actions of General Manteuffel; states that he believes Prussia and Austria are hoping that the Danes will soon yield; discusses military action in Denmark and states that the Austrians do not intend to advance into Jutland; reports that Lady Bloomfield has visited Mrs Strachey and that her health is very poor but that Julian Fane was much better; Strachey's child had been cared for by the wife of one of his secretaries and is returning to England; asks if he knows if Grey is being sent to Rio.
