Content Description | Reports that Rechberg is unwell and expects to be beaten on the issue of the 10 million florins for the Schleswig expedition; had told Rechberg that the news from England was worrying and Lord Derby may make an attack on the foreign policy of the Government; has discussed the proposed military campaign in Schleswig and Holstein with Rechberg; states that it is his impression that Austria and Prussia were 'going the whole way - Schleswig-Holstein [the Duke of] Augustenburg and all'; asks him not to mention this at Berlin. |
