Content DescriptionDiscusses the Polish question; comments that he cannot not understand Lord Russell delaying his decision; Austria has had to act differently from the other western powers on that particular issue; refers to the Greek question [who was to become king]; states that he will be surprised if the Emperor of Austria travels to Carlsbad to meet the King [of Prussia]; has received strange accounts of the Crampton's at Madrid; Bray's daughter Gabrielle is to marry Mr Thomas; the Duke of Coburg is to leave Vienna; he is determined to reform the Diet.

Postscript dated 18 Jun 1863; has received a telegram from Lord Russell informing him that despatches on the Polish question have been sent from Paris and London; in the meantime, the Poles are being slaughtered in large numbers.
