Content Description	Discusses furnishings of a chapel in Berlin; Lady Bloomfield had raised money for the chapel; the books came from the Colonial Society; need not give a dinner to celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday; he will dine with the King [William]; France has replied to Austria's proposals [regarding Poland]; Recherg is unwell; Lord Russell's answer is unknown; the news from Galicia is favourable to Russia; there is no independent confirmation; comments upon the situation in Berlin, would expect 'a flare up' from any other people; comments that Prussians are incalculable; Beust can solve the dispute between Prussia and Austria if he desires; understands that Gorchakov is attempting to persuade Monlibetto that Austria is anxious to come to an understanding with Russia and that he is the only obstacle to the formation of a holy alliance. The Germans are taken up with the Danish question; Bavaria is prepared to follow the lead of Austria and Prussia.
