Informs him that he must take up the issue of his house in The Hague with Layard; in regard to his other question, he should keep quiet until he hears from Lord Cowley who is in communication with Drouyn; informs him that the Queen expects him to 'give way' to her brother in law, the Prince of Coburg and that if the other ambassadors refuse he is to be absent due to 'ill health'; states that Bismarck will risk everything to maintain his position.
