Content Description	Reports that he had received word from Paris that the Queen of Spain intended to dismiss O'Donnell and appoint Narv ez, on condition that he despatched an army to assist the Pope; hopes this is not the case; would like to keep on good terms with the Spanish; Mr Parkes had been to see him regarding bonds; asks him to speak to the Minister of Finance about this as he understands Spain has a surplus and feels debts should be settled; has spoken to Palmerston; the government is not as devoid of humanity as Lord Howden appears to be; Serrano has behaved well.
