D'Orsey to the Bishop of Gibraltar; refers to the proposal that Madrid should be made the headquarters of his missionary activities in Spain; thanks him for the donation of £10 mentioned in Rev. Mayers [Mayor] letter [not present]. Letter from the Bishop of Gibraltar to Rev. A. D'Orsey; informs him that he considers the financial part of the proposal to fund the mission at Barcelona impractical; believes he needs to be attached to the British Consul and receive Foreign Office support.
