Content DescriptionChurchwardens present the following: Sarah Pearson for a bastard child; John Button of Kilton, husbandman, as excommunicate; Richard Sumersall, tallow chandler, and Elizabeth his wife, as excommunicate; Thomas Rauson, weaver, as excommunicate, and for refusing to pay his assessment of 6d to the church; William Lee, roper, and Mary his wife, as excommunicate; William Scoley for not coming to divine service for the space of three months; Richard Sumersall and Elizabeth his wife aforesaid for not sending their child to be baptized; the said Elizabeth for not coming to be churched.
