Admin HistoryIt was not until 1983 that the University appointed an Information Officer (Philip Dalling) to manage University communications from within the Information Office, also known as the Public Affairs Office. It was at this time that the University newsletter was started. Over time communications and marketing merged and became far more prominent at the University, developing into the current External Relations.
Custodial HistoryThe photographs have been transferred to Manuscripts and Special Collections at different times between the 1990s and 2007.
DescriptionThese photographs were created for promotional purposes and were used in University publications such as the University Newsletter and Prospectuses.

ArrangementThe photographs are arranged in series, each series reflecting a separate acquisition to the collection.
