Admin History | Sport has always been a significant part of student life at Nottingham. The development of the Highfields site in the 1920s included the creation of various sporting facilities such as football grounds, cricket pitches, tennis courts and a running track. A new Sports Centre was opened on University Park in 1970 and a swimming pool in 1996, with other sports facilities available at other campuses and at Grove Farm. The David Ross Sports Village was opened in 2016. |
