Description	Financial papers and accounts for University College Nottingham. The material covers the entire history of the University College but there are no complete series of records. The College was governed and administered by the Town Council and there are a series of printed accounts for the Nottingham Corporation for the years 1887-1938. These printed accounts cover the whole of the Corporation's responsibilities not just the University College. The College was initially administered by the Corporation as a joint enterprise together with the town's free library and museum. There are a series of accounts for the college, library and museum for the years 1879-1900. As well as the printed accounts there are series of ledgers recording the day-to-day financial business of the College including nominal ledgers, purchase and sale ledgers and income and expenditure ledgers. Minor financial records are also present such as a locker deposit book for 1937-1941.
