Content Description	Robert Peers (1888-1972) came to University College Nottingham in 1920 as director of a new department of extra mural education (Adult Education). He later served as Vice-Principal, and was appointed Acting Principal following Principal Wortley's death in 1947. Before coming to Nottingham he had worked at Exeter University College.
