This volume contains an extensive treatise by Lady Frances Pelham, on her Christian beliefs and the nature of her faith. She writes it for her children and does 'command and intreat them all to gain a true knowledge & assured Faith in the same, to live & dy in it'.

Watermark: Three Circles above each other, surmounted by a simple crown; two dragons flank the top circle which contains a Roman Cross, total size approx. 70 x 45 mm
Burgundy buckram and leather spine is gold stamped with words 'Frances Lady Pelham Expression of Faith'; binder added two front flyleaves and 23 blank folios at back of book; gold graphing on upper edges only.
