Physical Description
One of four quarto part books each consisting of 6 leaves each plus front and back paste downs made of the same paper throughout.
Paper is uniformly cropped in all four books, 193 x 145 mm.
Descriptive Features
The paper type used for all leaves and paste downs are of uniform colour and texture and they share the same chainline pattern.
Watermark: Pot surmounted by quatrefoil, approximately 45 x 20 mm (single watermark form is found on f 3).
All four books have a similar limp vellum binding which measure approximately 195 x 148 mm. The limp vellum was dyed in black leaving front and back oblong windows of natural-coloured vellum as labels on which to write the title of the books. Titles were entered on the front labels. The leaves were sewn to the limp binding by means of two large stitches.
