Content Description
Report that French have agreed to release all French prisoners, 'fishers' and others taken on board English ships if the king will agree to release the Irish taken on board French ships; note that the French still insist on being given the forts in Hudson's Bay taken during the last war but they have consented to have it adjudged by Commissioners; French also demand a settlement for the Queen but seem content to accept his majesty's promise of her maintenance without making an article of it; they insist that 'He should not only be sett at liberty but have satisfaction for his pretended damages which they say amounts to 150000 French livres'.
