Content DescriptionText consists of Martial, Epigram 12.46(47) (an elegiac couplet), followed by a 4-line English version. The whole prefaced as follows: 'There are persons who in some periods of their lives are inexpressibly agreeable, & in others as odious & detestable. Martial has given us a very pretty picture of one of this species in ye following Epigram'.
