Countermark: monogram DVE, approx. 12 x 40 mm

Red Morocco leather on boards gold stamped with two ornate concentric panels; a small floral tool is stamped in the four corners of the inner panel and a larger floral tool is set in the centre of the same panel; two panels are connected with double fillets at corners; both upper and lower covers have same decoration; spine is divided into six equal panels, each of which are gold stamped with a central floral tool, triangular corners and fillets all around.
