A note on the folder in the hand of Francis Needham states that a copy of this poem is in Lady Margaret Harley's commonplace book, p 80, and is endorsed in the hand of Edward Harley, 2nd Earl of Oxford: 'By Mr Wesley'. This manuscript is not amongst the Portland Papers at Nottingham University.

Mrs Morris [Morice] died while visiting her father, Francis Atterbury, in exile, Nov. 1729.
