Text consists of 10 lines. In l 6 'belov'd' is interlineated above 'unblam'd'; on l 10 a reference indicates insertion of 'pensive', but the alternative 'aking' has not been cancelled.
Epitaph to the poet and dramatist John Gay inscribed on a monument in Westminster Abbey.
