Content Description	Text consists of sixteen Alcaic stanzas. Written on the astronomer David Gregory (1661-1708), who was appointed Savilian professor of astronomy at Oxford in 1691. The printed version of this poem, entitled 'Davidi Gregory Astronomiae Professori Saviliano', contains only eleven 4-line verses.
