Professional presentation in italic script
One of a set of two quarto volumes which share binding characteristics (see Pw V 129); bound in red morocco leather on pasteboards lavishly decorated with a wide band of gold tooled ornaments around the borders of upper and lower covers; individual floral, insect, stars, fruits and leaf tools used in volumes Pw V 129 and Pw V 130 are not identical in both volumes but give the impression of being alike; spines are divided into 6 panels which are decorated with a 6 pointed star at the centre of each panel filled in with smaller stamps, each panel enmarked by five fillet lines, which emphasize the sewing ridges of the spines;
No lettering or numbering was used in binding; brightly stamped wallpaper was used by the binder to cover all paste downs and flyleaves; all leather foldbacks close to the pastedowns are gold stamped with a roll of leaves and buds.
