Descriptive Features
Watermark, Post Horn within crowned, ornate shield with a small beehive suspended from the shield, and the name C & I Honing below the beehive, approx. 115 x 80 mm.
Countermark, letters IV, approx. 12 x 24 mm
Fine, slender italic script in the very high and very low stems.
Marble paper on pasteboard; on upper cover it is written in black ink 'Duke of Portland. Welbeck'.
