Content Description | The text consists of 122 lines mainly in rhyming couplets. In f 1v and f 2r there is some division of the text into verses. Throughout proper names are indicated by intials alone but there are some notes in the right-hand margins on identities possibly in the same hand. There is bracketing around lines 105-7 and lines 114-16.
It is possible to identify the 'J.P.' of the title as J. Poultney. From the margin notes it is also possible to suggest identities of those referred to. |
