Watermark: Strasbourg lily, i.e. large fleur de lis within shield (NO insignia is suspended from the shield), approx. 122 x 70 mm
Countermark: Roman numerals IV, approx. 14 x 24 mm
Professionally copied in cursive script
Written on ruled paper
Vellum on pasteboard, blind tooled with two parallel fillet lines at borders of upper and lower covers and a central medallion ornamented with arabesques, small stars and birds; covers are closed by means of two black metal clasps; spine is plain,pastedowns are of marble paper; notice 'No. 2 ' written with brown ink on upper cover.
