Letter from William Bull, Tower [of London], London, to Captain La Molinière, n.d. [c.31 May 1715]; says that the shirts are now to be burnt in the Tower and that the Duke [of Marlborough] is very angry 'with the undertaker'; says that the men are to have new shirts.

Letter from R. D'Oyly, Tower [of London], London, to Captain La Molinière, 30 May 1715; says that the order to burn the 'amonition shirts' has been deferred until the following day as it was 'too late to strip the men of their shirts'.
