Says that her husband's (Captain Richard Pugh) ship (the Norwich) was lost at sea in a hurricane shortly after he had taken a French ship; states that she and her son are now in debt; says that other widows who lost husbands in the previous reign have been provided for; states that this information is from a report by His Royal Highness which is now in the hands of Secretary Hedges; requests that Queen Anne extend her 'princely Bounty' to her and her child.
