Content DescriptionStatement on the 'Case of the Minister, the Parish of St Mary le Strand, and Precinct of the Savoy'; replies to statements made in a paper entitled 'The Case of the Earl of Dorset and his Tenants'; says that the people concerned cannot be tenants of the Earl as he only has a few in the parish of St. Mary le Strand; comments that the Earl's tenants are not affected by the bill in question; refers to a misunderstanding of those aspects of the bill which relate to the calculation of tithes and various other payments to the church in the parish; says that following the enacting of the bill the Earl's tenants will have a 'Right' to the place in the church which they 'had heretofore but by Courtesie'.
