Draft letter from Robert Harley [later 1st Earl of Oxford], Whitehall, London, to Mr [Alexander] Stanhope; 13/24 Sep. 1706

Says that they are still hoping for a change in the [wind] at the equinox; states that they are like 'fish upon the dry land' as they have had no recent news and are unaware of what is 'done or doing'; hopes that the 'storme' which was gathering near Saxony has been dispersed.

This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford.
