Content DescriptionPrays for success in Flanders, Savoy, Spain, Italy and the 'expedition' which is 'under sail with a very fair wind'; directs Stanhope to inform the Pensionary that the queen is to send an ambassador to Venice; instructs Stanhope to ask the Pensionary to send someone to Venice to assist in bringing 'that republic more into the interest of the allys'; has been informed by Mr Wich of a 'great complaint' that the 'Hamburger' make against the 'Admr of Holstein about a light house that was built by them on his country of Heyligoland'; believes that this could be of 'great consequence to the Dutch and English navigation' if it is true and they may have to involve themselves; requests further information; expresses his satisfaction that Lord Halifax has made such progress in settling the succession.

Refers to the pension to be granted to Prince Charles of Denmark by England and the States.
