Hopes that Sir John Leake sailed from Gibraltar on 10/21 Apr and will arrive in time to 'raise the siege of Barcelona'; issues no new instructions and refers Stanhope to his previous letter; says that the Queen in Council has ordered the instructions to the 'Brivateen to be altered' with regard to the States.
This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford.
