Content DescriptionSays that Stanhope will receive news from Portugal from the 'office'; hopes to hear directly from Catalonia as to the progress of the military campaign; encloses a copy [not present] of the queen's answer to the King of Denmark on the subject of Lubeck; says that he is to keep it secret until Mr Vernon has received his copy; states that the consequences of 'having a disturbance in those parts wil be so fatal'; directs him to raise the issue with the Pensionary; encloses information [no present] as to the government's view towards the contraband issue.
