Content Description
Discusses the progress of the plan for England and the States to [give funds to the Emperor in order that he may send troops to Italy]; believes that the States have been informed of Lord Sunderland's opinion on the matter; has sent relevant documents to the Duke of Marlborough who 'wil judg what is best to be done'; requests that Stanhope send the Pensionary's answer to Vienna; thinks that they will have to wait for Mr Buys to arrive before hearing the answer regarding 'contraband'.
This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford.
