Is glad that Stanhope has reported that the States General have had a favourable reaction regarding the intentions of the queen towards them; says that the proposal of sending another person on a diplomatic mission to Holland has been 'suspended'; discusses the issue of 'drawing Bills' in an attempt to reduce France to the 'utmost extremity'; says that Mr Vryberge has delivered the States's resolution regarding the Duke of Savoy's 'relief'; is sorry that the reaction to discussions regarding Darthig was 'cool'.
This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford.
