Comments on discussions between the Queen and Mr Vryberge [regarding seized Dutch ships?]; informs Stanhope of the results of discussions between Mr Vryberge and the 'Lords'; says that the conference regarding Darthiz is to be renewed to ensue that it maintains its liberty and current allegiance; says that the Queen has released the Dutch ships and hopes that the Dutch will not trade with France in such a way as to give assistance to her; comments on the argument over who should lead the Anglo-Dutch troops; says that the ill health of the King of Portugal means that they need to begin their campaign.
This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford.
