Content Description
Provides an account of a sea battle in which the squadron of Rear Admiral Whetstone lost fifty men whilst challenging merchants bound for both France and England; suggests that Stanhope use this information during his conferences [at The Hague]; wonders what the Dutch states will think of it; believes that some people are looking for an excuse for the King of Sweden to come out of Poland and into Germany.
