Says that Queen Anne has considered the 'state of affairs abroad' and the 'great concerne it is to yr Emper' [Joseph I]; wishes to improve on the success of the Duke of Marlborough; suggests that a 'vigouous act of the army under the Margrave of Baden[-Baden] would aid the 'common cause'; discusses various suggestions relating to the progress of the military campaign; believes that Louis? is corresponding with France but acting with 'vigor and zeale' on their side; expresses concern that the troops of Louis? do not have the necessary confidence in him.
