Gives no news on the 'transactions of the Norwich mob' as Slew and Barney have already provided full reports; refers to complaints from 'our club' that they have not been mentioned by the Ministry for their 'faithfull services'; comments on the complaints about the 'obnoxious' Lord Lieutenant; says that Sir Ed[mund] Bacon refuses to spend any money at the next election because of this; recommends that the Lord Lieutenant be replaced before the next election to prevent others from also withdrawing their support; expects trouble if 'two or three of yr gang be not turned out'; suspects that 'our Knights' will provide the necessary support.
