Content DescriptionLetter dated 15 Feb. 1703; has heard news that the 'Confederate Fleet' has arrived at Cadiz.

Letter dated 22 Feb. 1703; is glad that they are both of the 'same heart and spirit'; comments on the 'singular courage of our troops before Venlo'; expresses his happiness at the 'good success att Landau, Venlo and other places'; warns against people 'taking exceptions att little, mean of Peekish things'; says that Mr Harley may stay longer in the country due to the adjournment of Parliament.

Letter dated 29 Feb. 1703; thanks Adam for furnishing him with 'the means to stop the mouths of gain-sayers'; is glad that there is 'such a sense of liberty' in Holland.
