States that he has been corrupted by reading 'Critical History of the Old Testament'; expresses his regrets at his previous religious views and the corrupting influence they may have had on others.
Note by Symon Patrick that this note was brought to him by Monsieur Alex from Mr John Hampden on 25 April 1688 to be kept sealed.
Note by Richard Kidder that the notes were given to him on 21 September 1690 by Dr Alex to be kept sealed until directed by Dr Alex.
