Content DescriptionDescribes a 'little chapple in the Hospitall Grounds there wch probably was intended for the use of that Hospitall' at Exeter; explains that this has been used as a school, store and then by non-conformists for services; complains that the key has been taken by the new mayor, Mr Bales, with the approval of Sir Jonathan Trelawney, but that neither the mayor nor the hospital have the right as it belongs to the crown; points out that the chapel was licensed by Act of Parliament and ask 'for reliefe from the old persecuting Spirit which here riseth up again'.
