Content DescriptionRefers to previous accusation by Captain Ellice and gives details of his own complaint against William Borotell that he has fraudulently undertaken the financing of a scheme to free slaves from Algiers; describes the fate of his commission, with Borotell's kinsman Mr Lyonell [Lionel] Croft, to take ships to bring back the redeemed captives.

Note at the end 'If your Lordships have occasion to send for me Direct your letter to Stephen Appleby liveing In Sr William Warrent's Square in Wapping, London. If for Capt. Ellice att ye Scootch Coffee house In Bartholmew Leane neare ye Exchange in London'.
