Regrets he will be unable to act on behalf of Robert's brother Daniell; says that Robert knows how he was treated by Charles, and that he swore never again to have anything to do with him; cannot swear to the affidavit as last he heard Daniell was in 'perfect health'; believes that Robert would not have him swear the contrary to be true; does not feel able to swear to Daniell's willingness to serve the Queen; says he would do anything of 'body or blood' for Robert, but refuses to go against his own spirit.
