Apologises for not waiting on him in person in order to pay the acknowledgements which 'are due from every Commoner in England for your steady adherence to the Ancient, known laws of the Land'; congratulates the wisdom which saw him refusing to remove the 'ancient land markes'; trusts he will prevent a 'new and unprecidented review, or examination'; promises to wait on him in a few days.
