Content DescriptionReports his arrival in and welcome to Hanover according to the custom of the court; says he has been unable to speak with the Elector and spoke to the Electress instead; says that he has been assured the court will not accept any offers on behalf of the Queen [Anne] unless they come directly form her; says that the Electress also assured him that she would accept no proposals which may prove detrimental to Queen [Anne]; promises to serve the Queen with 'zeal and duty'.
