Encloses a certificate of the plate he received from the jewel office on his 'late embassy'; discusses his losses because the government delayed in paying him the ten thousand pounds due to him upon his return to England; says that he saved the government a large amount of money by refusing the Czar's subsistence; requests that the Queen order his 'Indenture to be given up'; thanks Oxford for his patronage.
