Content Description	Discusses the Czar's entertainment and behaviour during the Christmas and New Year period; says that whilst dining at the home of Prince Mensihikoff the Czar heard news of the march of the King of Sweden; says that he had his audience with the Czar, who has left to join his army; says that the Czar may go to St Petersburg first if the King of Sweden sets up winter quarters and does not advance far into Lithuania; says the Princes, the Czar's sister and the Empress are preparing to go to St Petersburg; says his solicitations on behalf of the merchants have been to no avail as the Czar left so suddenly; feels he is useless there as he has no idea when the Czar will return; desires leave to return home; will request this of Secretary Harley in his next letter. Fears that the movement of the armies may affect the postal service.
