Content DescriptionSays he is pleased with [Harley's] commnication of the previous day and still hopes for his good offices in securing a favourable response for Russia; announces that 10,000 Swedish troops [?] have entered Silesia, that only their actions and time will tell what their intentions are and that what seems incredible now will become increasingly real; says it is now public knowledge in the Hague that there is an alliance between Sweden, Prussia and Hanover but does not know if Britain or the United Provinces have any interest in this; believes, if [Harley] knew of this he would have told him out of friendship, a friendship he believes to be true and which he reciprocates.
