Content DescriptionStates that, following this day's meeting, he wishes to stress two outstanding points; says he has handed over, on the Tsar's instructions, letters in the name of the Polish Republic written by the Archbishop of Gneiss [Stanislaw Szembek] and the Marshal of the Confederation [Stanislaw Denhoff]] to the British Queen [Anne]; says their import has already been relayed to the British government by the British ambassador at the Hague, Stepney; asks for a speedy response and also a reply as to whether or not the British government is going to recognize Stanislas Leszczynski as King of Poland; says he requires these answers by Friday next.
